SRU provides fully serviced residential units on campus for students from outside the region, equipped with all the facilities needed for a comfortable and safe academic environment.

Eligibility Criteria
Enrolled full-time in a degree programme
Residing more than 100 km from campus
Applying at least 30 days before semester start
Committing to residential rules and regulations
Log in to your student portal at student.sru.edu.sa
Select 'Student Services' then 'Housing Request'
Choose your preferred room type and select the academic term
Attach required documents (National ID, acceptance letter)
Complete the online payment — your booking is confirmed upon review

A Modern Fleet Connecting You Everywhere

The university's Transportation Department operates a fleet of modern air-conditioned buses throughout the week during the academic term, serving the city's main districts, the airport, and facilities near campus.

Subscription Requirements
Students enrolled in the current semester
Presenting student ID card on every trip
Subscribing via portal at least one week before service start
Open the student portal and navigate to 'Transportation Service'
Select the route(s) closest to your residence
Choose your subscription type (monthly or per semester)
Complete payment online, then collect your transit card from the Transport Office

Supported University Hajj Programme

Sulaiman Al-Rajhi University organises an annual Hajj trip for eligible students in coordination with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, covering transportation, accommodation, and full religious supervision — a reflection of the university's Islamic values and commitment to students' spiritual growth.

Eligibility Criteria
Performing Hajj for the first time (not previously performed)
Enrolled student with no active disciplinary record
Completed at least two semesters at the university
Full availability for the duration of the Hajj programme
Submitting application within the designated window before the Hajj season
Watch for the registration announcement via the student portal and university email
Submit the online application form with a copy of your National ID
The eligibility committee reviews applications and announces accepted lists
Upon acceptance: sign the commitment declaration and submit travel documents
Attend the mandatory orientation one week before departure

General Application Requirements
Enrolled student in good academic standing (GPA ≥ 2.0)
Submitting proof of financial need documents (for need-based aid)
Not receiving a duplicate government scholarship
Annual renewal with continued eligibility compliance
Log in to the student portal and go to 'Financial Aid & Scholarships'
Choose the appropriate support type (merit grant / financial aid / fee waiver)
Complete the online form and attach all required documents
You will receive an email with the decision within 10 working days
Approved aid is credited directly to your university account
